Moving country or buying abroad: which referral link?

Open the referral link for the store of the country where the car will be registered and delivered — not where you live today, and not where the person who sent you the link lives. The router detects your device's location, so if you're ordering for a country you're not in yet, pick that store by hand.

Currency and price	Each store prices in its own currency, with its own taxes.
Referral benefit	Set per store. Tesla's pages showed 3 months of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in the US (Oct 2, 2026), 650 free Supercharging miles in the UK (Oct 4, 2026), 3 months of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in Canada (Oct 5, 2026) and 1,000 free Supercharging kilometers in Ireland (Jul 12, 2026).
Models in the program	Also per store — the US page included Cybertruck; the UK, Irish and German pages showed Model Y and Model 3 only.
Delivery and registration	An order in one country's store is for delivery in that country.
Local rules	Tesla's terms make the program “conditional on and subject to the local laws and regulations of the registration address of the referrer and buyer” (Tesla's Refer and Earn support page (effective Aug 24, 2024, updated Feb 24, 2026; read Jun 15, 2026)).

Three common situations

You're moving before delivery.
Order in the new country's store if you can register the car there. Ordering in the old one and exporting the car later is a separate project the referral won't help with.
Your friend lives abroad and sent their link.
Their app link points at their store. Keep the code, change the store: paste it into the checker.
You're travelling while you order.
The router may detect the country you're visiting. Choose your home store with “Change store” before copying.
