The router and the checker

Store detection reads your device's time zone and language preferences in your browser. No IP lookup, no request to us or anyone else. If you pick a store yourself, it is remembered in a cookie named tesla_country holding a two-letter country code, for 30 days, so other pages use the same store; “Use my detected store” deletes it. The checker reads what you paste inside your browser and never sends or saves it.

Your choices stored in your browser

If you hide the bottom bar, the date until which it stays hidden (three weeks) is saved in your browser's local storage under refbar_dismissed_until.

Analytics

This build has no analytics enabled. If analytics is turned on, it will load only after you allow it, and this section will say exactly what is recorded.

Hosting

The site is a set of static files on a hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operations.
